Description

  • The Sliding blade damper is a neck mounted sliding blade damper used in round duct applications.
  • Dampers have gang operated radial blades. Blades slide at right angles to the duct, allowing the damper to work effectively in flexible duct applications
  • Damper is adjusted at the screwdriver operator slot.
  • The Sliding blade damper is neck mounted.
  • Material is heavy gauge galvanized steel.

Technical Data

Radial opposed blade damper

  1. Slide two adjacent mounting slots onto diffuser neck (ensure edge of neck is inserted completely into slot).
  2. Slide the two remaining slots onto diffuser neck.
  3. Tap firmly downward on each slot to ensure neck edge is inserted completely into each slot.
  4. For permanent installation, tap inwards the outside edge of each mounting slot.

 

Radial sliding blade damper

  1. Position the damper on the diffuser neck with the middle damper mounting prongs inside the neck and the four side prongs outside the neck.
  2. Press the side mounting prongs firmly against the diffuser neck to secure damper.
 

Damper adjustment

Vertical operator

accepts standard screwdriver for slotted or socket head thru diffuser face.
