Description
- Butterfly damper is a duct mounted butterfly damper used in round duct applications.
- Friction pivots hold the heavy gauge blades at the desired setting.
- Continuously adjustable from fully open to fully closed.
- Damper blades open upward into air stream.
- Not recommended for use with flexible duct.
- Adjustable at screwdriver operator slot.
- Shipped loose for field installation.
- Material is heavy gauge steel.
Butterfly damper
For fixed volume control in round diffuser installations continuously; adjustable from full open to full closed. Screw thread adjustment keeps heavy gauge blades at desired setting. Adjustable from face of diffuser. Can be mounted directly on diffuser neck. Satin etch black on steel. If used with flexible duct, care must be taken to ensure pivot axles are in line with approach direction of supply air.
